Saint Demetrius the Myroblytis is the patron saint of Thessaloniki, where he was born. He was imprisoned for his piety and faith. He was speared to death for encouraging Nestor to defeat Lyaeus. Myrrh flowed from his tomb, hence the name Myrovlites. It celebrates on October 26.
